Born in California in 1950, Lana Lee Heckman spent much of her early childhood with her grandparents while her parents navigated life apart. Raised in a family that valued resilience over religion, she learned from her grandmother to embrace curiosity, even mastering the art of reading cards. Despite facing significant challenges, including a complex family life, personal health struggles, and trauma, Lana found strength in faith and perseverance. At 18, she joined the Church of Jesus Christ, which became a guiding force in her life. Her journey of healing, self-discovery, and love led her to meet her husband, Gary, with whom she built a life rooted in kindness, respect, and partnership. Her story reflects courage, hope, and the unyielding belief that life, with all its trials, is worth living fully.
